Very proud of this. I think I did a nice job of making the colors gradually change.

This is one of my texture explorations created in the 6 hour design studio. I pasted cut doilies in a pattern that will later be painted using the dry brush method.

I searched for Basquiat quotes this week. I knew I wanted to write about something he said because he is one of my favorite artists. I was drawn to this quote because I think that I can strongly agree with after getting this far in design class! I've learned to think about all of the pieces of a composition separately as well as as a whole. I think this quote relates perfectly to our studies of the elements of design!

This is a picture collage of the progression from the picture to the sketch and finally the collage! I'm very pleased with how this turned out. I think I shows a lot of my personality, and I love that I was modivated to work on it. This project was informative but also fun!
